My favorite thing about BYU is the ability to make connections with such wonderful faculty and fellow students!
What was the best learning experience you had?
I've had the wonderful opportunity to be a TA for a chemistry lab for the past 2 years. I absolutely love my students, and they've helped me learn as I've helped them grow in their knowledge of chemistry
What/Who are you grateful for as you reflect on your college experience?
My family has been such a good support system for me (shout out to you mom and dad, Rinna, Jordan, Amanda, and Natasha!). I'm also so grateful for Dr. Korth in the religion department and Dr. Sansom in the Chemistry department for allowing me the opportunity to assist them in teaching, as well as Dr. Nielsen in the psychology department for being a great mentor, an amazing professor, and a
-Intro to Latin dance is SPICY and FUN
-I loved participating in the symphony orchestra
-STAC 116 (Bowling) is FUN
-Being a research assistant in the Nielsen Brain and Behavior Lab was such a great experience for me
What's next for you?
I'm going to grad school to receive a Master's in Social Work. I hope then to get my LCSW and then become a practicing therapist. My wish is to help young adults in marginalized communities, specifically LGBTQ+ individuals, understand themselves better and how they can find their own worth.
